Tack on avatar / pattern falling on simulation

Ask about specific settings, like fabric properties, or the difference between the sewing tools. These would be things you would expect to see in a software manual.

Tack on avatar / pattern falling on simulation

Post by marrushko666 » Wed May 13, 2020 8:30 am

Hi all,
I'm beginner in MD and follow a tutorial about tacking on avatar but it isn't working.
I create a simple square pattern, position it in front of the chest on my avatar / select tack on avatar tool / left click in my pattern then on my avatar body.
Yellow line appear : it seems to works.
When i launch the simulation the pattern is falling on the floor while the tack line stay visible.
How can I fixe this ?

Thank you

It's not your problem. Are you using MD 9.5? I just gave it a try myself and I got the same results. It fell to the floor.

I will send an error report to MD.

It's a known bug. Folks have been reporting this for a couple weeks, already. They are already working on it.
