connecting cloth to hard object?

Ask about specific settings, like fabric properties, or the difference between the sewing tools. These would be things you would expect to see in a software manual.

connecting cloth to hard object?

Post by Svumpukkel »

So I just started playing around with MD, and I was wondering how you (yes you!) would go about it.

So I'm working on a hazmat suit, and i wanted a hard surface visor on the hood, so I made the rim shape so i could get the cloth behaving to the hard surface.

So my question is there a way I can connect it together so its snug to the rim or should I just use tacks and then fix that part in zbrush?

How would you go about it?

I would say normally the answer would be to use the "Line tack to avatar" tool, but in the latest version, it is not working correctly. It is currently on the team's bug report list.
