Hello, I need help with basics. 1 and 8 baloons.

Ask about specific settings, like fabric properties, or the difference between the sewing tools. These would be things you would expect to see in a software manual.

Hello, I need help with basics. 1 and 8 baloons.

Hello everyone! I am new to the forum and Marvelous designer.
I did some basic things with a success but now I need to create an "8" shaped ballon and can't find tools that I think should be somewhere ;)
For example is there a way to merge two circles to create an "8" outline? Is it not possible to merge/intersect/cut patterns in marvelous designer like in illustrator (pathfinder tool)? I was searching in google but couldn't find the answer.

Please, help!

I used the circle tool, then cut it with an internal line. Remove the extra, and unfold.

I created the balloon and now I'm trying to figure out how to make them look more balloony :P

Here is what I have:

And here is what I would like it to look like:

Any ideas on how to add more details and wrinkles to my simulation?

I actually think that looks pretty good. :)

To get more wrinkles you need really a low Particle Distance setting, so there are more triangles in the mesh to crease / fold….

If you are a good painter, drawing in the wrinkles is an option too.
