Help on Pattern for an african Dress
Hi , I have being trying to make this african kente cloth. but i dont seem to get the patterns right. would really love it if i could get some help here. Thanks ... Please check attached images

If you are referring more to the wrapping itself (pattern), and not to the color/texture pattern, then the best approach is to make it like a traditional Roman toga wrap. Many of the ancient cultures used similar solutions to the creation of their clothing.
There are a number of references as to the basic pattern, either a long rectangle or a long semi-circle will do.

The trick is to pin one spot in place onto your avatar, then use another pin to move the rest of the fabric as you wrap it around. It will take some time to manipulate, as you will need a lot of cloth, and the simulation will go slowly because of that.
