I know nothing of Second Life, but I think this is really nice. Major kudos for doing the best you can without spending lots of money on fancy software.

In the Fabric Presets there are three that might help. The D_Leather isn't very stiff, but you might try it. The S_Leather_Belt is very stiff and will stand up on its own. All you get in the 2D view is X and Y, no Z. It's more like a CAD program on that side. I equate it to a UV editor in other 3D programs. Thank you for contributing. That's a really great idea. I never thought of quick Gizmo switches.

I customized the Segment Sewing to D, Free Sewing to F and Internal Line to G, so I can keep my right hand on the mouse and switch with my left on the keyboard.
