Re: Need help - new to MD

This was posted in the wrong place, so I've moved it.

What do you mean by colliders? These must be geometry that you imported into MD. How something behaves in MD depends on the settings you used on the imported item. I think the issue is with the item, not MD.

Re: Stitches "Thread Thickness (mm)" issue

I just tested this and it switches to anything I type in. I can go from 3 to 0.3 without issues.

I'm not sure what is happening on your end. Have you tried saving and then reopening the project? Sometimes I get strange behavior if I leave MD open overnight. Reloading can clear it.

Re: Tack on avatar / pattern falling on simulation

It's not your problem. Are you using MD 9.5? I just gave it a try myself and I got the same results. It fell to the floor.

I will send an error report to MD.

Re: Prevent MD from saving image

I'm not aware of a way to stop this. I've never run across a setting anywhere.
Sorry.

Re: Problems with sewing

I'm not sure what you're asking. It looks like you need to sew both sides and then hit the Simulate button to have the sewing done and pulled together.

Re: Backpack shoulder help

Welcome to the community.

You can use internal lines with a fold angle to fold it like that and put the sewing seam on the top.

Re: Patterns from UV Maps

Hi, There isn't anything wrong with MD, I've been doing quite a bit of testing lately bringing in OBJ files created out of Blender. There must be something else going on. I've attached a file for you to test. I had to zip it to include in the posting here. Just unzip the file and use FrontBodiceBlen...

Re: Having a hard time creating a box pleat pocket...

I did a pair of cargo pants in a video (almost 5 years ago, OMG). There are pockets that are very similar to what you are trying to do. Watch the video at about 31:20 to hear the description of what the pattern looks like. Then skip to 32:59 and I explain how you use internal lines with fold angles ...

Re: Rolled up sleeve?

You seem to have a lot of questions. You might want to purchase my online web book Understanding Marvelous Designer - https://understandingmarvelousdesigner.com/.

Here's a screenshot of exactly what you need in this situation.

I'm sorry, I have no idea what is happening. Perhaps a couple screen shots might be helpful.
